In Empire the whole game-system is perfect for a WWI-Mod:Ī) The design of the countryside shows an infra-structure wich is like in the time of the 1900's.ī) The Models of the units and their uniforms are a perfect base to mod like in WWI.Ĭ) The campaign-map system is better than in Medieval.for the WWI-mod. Like the guys from SEGA already said, Empire Total War is much easier to mod than Medieval is. which are very useful for the mod and this things were missing in medieval, so it would take a long more time. In the empire game is a lot of motioncapturing, textures, models e.t.c. Maybe some of you guys will be angry because of this decision, but we had resons for this: We can't say when a first version of the mod will be released, because we have to change all running process to the Empire-game. That means, that the alpha- and betaversion planed for the mod on Medieval will be cancled. As you guys can see, we, the WWI-mod team, decided to change the Mod from "Medieval II:Total War" to the upcoming game "Empire:Total War".
